corruption in nigeria

nigeria is a rich country. so rich you would not believe it and so poor that you wonder how come the difference. Recently the country's Economic and Financial Crime Commission began retreiving stolen loot from past government officials, the money is so much in the region of $3 billion dollars from a few past Governors and still counting. If a fraction of the stolen loot was used for developing these areas there would be somuch development. there would be 24 hour electrical powerand cottage industries to keep poverty abay , but the culture of looting integrated in religion has kept every body chained in slavery.
